Masoud Jafari Jozani

Masoud Jafari Jozani was born in 1948. After finishing high school, he moved to the United Sates to continue his academic education. He received his graduate degree in directing from the San Francisco State University in 1975, followed by a Masters Degree in cinema in 1977. He also studied psychology, and taught cinema as an assistant professor at the State University. Jozani directed several short films in the U.S. before returning to Iran in 1978. He has now more than 20 years of experience in the Iranian cinema as a producer, director and screenwriter.

Masoud Jafari Jozani is one of the fine directors of Iranian TV and cinema, with a widespread local and global reputation. He is extremely fond of Iran and Iranian culture.
