Ali Hatami was always worrying about those values that the thick layer of modernism has wiped them out or has faded them. He depicted the history so sincerely, that become pleasant and amusing. He was the narrator of bitter and sweet moments of a not so long ago history, and through them he wiped off the dust from the contemporary history of this country, and did introduce folklores and other cultural, native appearances to the modern Iranian society. He was always obsessed with those days that the Iranian society was not tainted by the modern relations and dealing, and life was not so cold, spiritless, cruel and meaningless, yet. He had a major part in preserving and honouring all those genuine traditions, and he always reminded us of those good old days.
