Seyed Reza Mr Karimi (1966)

Graduated in Graphics at Faculty of Fine Arts – Tehran University. He started an artistic career, in 1996, with a short film he had directed. A screenwriter, producer and filmmaker, he has made 6 feature films, some short films and a TV series.

Mir Karimi believe that, “artists are forming the conscious of society. They well know the capacities and the secular law; they reflect the weak points and the flaws.” That is why in all his films, he uses very simple and unattractive actors, to project a frank portrait of the society. During recent years, as the head of Khaneh Cinema (Alliance of Iranian motion Picture Guilds), he has shown his abilities.
