| Seyyed Reza Mir Karimi appointed House of Cinema’s Deputy Director of Cultural Affairs |
In response to an offer made by the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Iranian Alliance of Motion Picture Guilds Mohammad Mehdi Asgarpour, Seyyed Reza Mir Karimi accepted the position of Deputy Director of Cultural Affairs at the House of Cinema.
Asgarpour’s letter to Mir Karimi reads:
Considering your outstanding background as a director of cultural and guild affairs and your special attention to research, education and upgrading the level of general and professional knowledge of the members of the House of Cinema during your management tenure, and the necessity of maintaining such an approach at the House of Cinema and the need for a successful and competent manager such as yourself in order to realize the cultural programs, meet the scientific and educational needs of the members, encourage the growth and development of the art-industry of cinema and promote efforts to better introduce the accomplishments of the members of the House of Cinema in the international scene, I am confident that your cooperation with the House of Cinema at this point of time as the Deputy Director of for Cultural Affairs will be the beginning of numerous constructive services to the cinema of our country.
