Set  & costume designer Malek Jahan Khazai holds a Bachelors Degree in Painting and Sculpture from London University’ s School of Fine Arts‚  and a Masters Degree in Art Direction from Slade School of Fine Arts of University College London. She started her artistic career in 1970 in UK as a set and costume designer. At the same time‚  she wrote and illustrated two books in France‚  which earned her the award for the best writer/illustrator of the year and the French Women’ s Association’ s choice writer award. She has done the set design of 16 feature films to date.
