Director Pouran Derakhshandeh is a graduate of film directing from the Advanced School of Television and cinema in Tehran. She is a member of the American Women In Film organization (WIF) International Center of Film for Children and Young People (CIFEJ) and the American Independent Feature Project (IFP).
Derakhshandeh has directed 8 feature film to date ‚ and received several awards from the International Festival of Films for Children & Young Adults.
