Actress Niki Karimi became well known for her title role in the 1990 "The Bride". She has won several acting awards from various film festivals such as San Sebastian ‚ Nantes and Cairo. She started making short films in 2001 ‚ and went on to make her first feature "One Night" in 2004‚ which was shown at "Uncertain regards" at Cannes film festival. In 2006‚ she made her second feature film "A few days later"‚ which premiered at "Rome film festival.
